Reading, Writing and Being Generally Awesome

I have no idea what I'm doing.
The Spindlers - Lauren Oliver, Iacopo Bruno This is the first book I've read by this author. (*gasp* I know, I know. I'm really far behind.) This was a cute idea and it was executed really well, but it just didn't hit home for me. Maybe it was the combination of how simplistic it was and the predictability. Honestly, I'm not one-hundred percent sure why, but I would definitely recommend this to fans of middle grade fantasy. I also would read this to my kids. It's full of adventure, friendship and the power of believing. So even though I didn't love it, I still am glad I read it. It was a fun read for just hanging around the house. And it kept my mind off of feeling icky from illness. I will definitely read more of Lauren Oliver's work!
